cleaning agents:

if at an early stage remove mechanically
if pits have formed – use pickling and passivation pastes

NOTE!!! To clean stainless steel DO NOT use: grout release agents, or hydrochloric acid dilutions, or bleaches, or silver cleaning agents!
cleaning tools:
cloth, chamois leather, nylon sponge
NOTE!!! Do not use carbon steel wire brushes, cleaning wool, or steel scrubbing pads!
to protect from contamination in transport and the production process the sheets can be coated with a foil-film:
- the sheet surface must be dry and clean, free of grease, oil, dust, etc.
- the foil application and removal processes require room temperature (optimally ca. 15 – 20ºC)
