• restricted formability
• good flow in the deep cup forming process

• better strain hardening compared to ferretic and non-alloy steels, higher demand
• strength in plastic formation
• the forming process can induce partial transformation to the martensitic structure (reversible in the annealing process)

NOTE!!! Deep formability of steel depends on e.g. the nickel content and the grain size.                                       In the event the material is to be deep-formed, the parameters must be pre-agreed with the supplier!
